Serving Rugby’s Muslim Community: A Vision for the Future
For nearly 50 years, the only mosque in Rugby has stood as a spiritual home for generations of Muslims. Established in the mid-1970s, it has supported the community through prayer, education, and connection. Today, with *over 4,000 Muslims living in Rugby* (2023), the needs of our growing and diverse community have outpaced the capacity of the current facility.
The time has come to build a dedicated complex that reflects the scale and spirit of our community—a space that functions not only as a mosque but as a vibrant *Islamic centre* for all.
A welcoming environment where *men, women, and children* can engage regularly with their faith, deepen their understanding, and build lasting bonds.
A structured educational programme led by *qualified Aalims and Aalimahs*, nurturing the next generation with sound Islamic knowledge and values.
Sessions from respected scholars addressing *real-life challenges* through the lens of Islamic teachings—open to both men and women.
Weekend events designed to foster *community cohesion*, strengthen families, and celebrate our shared identity.
This vision is not just about bricks and mortar—it’s about building a legacy. A centre that serves Rugby’s Muslims today and empowers future generations. We invite you to be part of this journey, whether through support, ideas, or simply spreading the word.
