Education is at the heart of our vision at Rugby Central Mosque. We are committed to providing faith-based learning that nurtures spirituality, builds character, and equips people of all ages with knowledge rooted in Islam. From children taking their first steps in Qur’an reading to adults deepening their understanding of faith, our programmes are designed to serve every member of the community.
Our madrassah will provide structured Islamic education for children and young learners in a nurturing and supportive environment. Students will begin their journey with Qur’an reading, focusing on proper tajweed and pronunciation, while also gaining a foundation in essential Islamic studies including fiqh, aqeedah, and seerah. Alongside this, children will learn dua and daily supplications that strengthen their connection with Allah in everyday life. The programme also places strong emphasis on building good manners and Islamic character, ensuring that students grow into confident, respectful, and faith-driven individuals who embody the values of Islam both at home and in the wider community.
Our Hifz Programme offers a dedicated pathway for those who wish to memorise the Qur’an. Students will follow a step-by-step memorisation plan with consistent revision support, guided closely by qualified Huffaz. Alongside memorisation, emphasis will be placed on tajweed and developing a deeper understanding of the Qur’an, all within a supportive and faith-filled environment that nurtures learners at every stage.
Education is a lifelong journey, and we believe it should be accessible to everyone. Our adult learning classes provide Qur’an reading and tajweed lessons for those who wish to strengthen their recitation skills, as well as introductory courses tailored for reverts and new Muslims. In addition, Islamic study circles, group discussions, and practical workshops on Islamic living will help adults deepen their faith, broaden their knowledge, and apply Islamic values in their daily lives.
Our vision for education goes beyond classrooms—we want to prepare our youth for life. Through halaqahs and faith-based youth circles, young people will be encouraged to explore their identity and strengthen their connection with Islam. Leadership training, life skills workshops, and creative sessions such as art, calligraphy, and digital skills will help them develop confidence and talents. Opportunities for volunteering and community service will further instill responsibility and a spirit of contribution to the wider community.
Through these education programmes, our aim is to strengthen the connection with the Qur’an and Sunnah, build confidence in Islamic identity, and provide inclusive spaces for learners of all ages. Ultimately, we seek to nurture future leaders who carry knowledge with humility and serve the community with both faith and wisdom.
