At Rugby Central Mosque, we believe that memorising the Qur’an (Hifz) is more than an academic pursuit—it’s a spiritual commitment and a legacy of faith. Our Hifz Programme will be designed to nurture students of all ages through structured learning, compassionate mentorship, and a deep connection to the words of Allah.
Islamic Nikah Ceremonies
Our centre will provide a serene and respectful setting for *Islamic Nikah ceremonies*, conducted by qualified scholars in accordance with Islamic principles. These services will be open to all members of the community and tailored to reflect the couple’s cultural and spiritual preferences.
- Pre-marital guidance and consultation

Registered Solemnisation
In addition to religious rites, we aim to offer *legally recognised marriage solemnisation* services, ensuring that couples can complete both their Islamic and civil commitments in one place.

Programme Highlights
Structured Memorisation Pathway
Students will follow a step-by-step plan, beginning with foundational surahs and progressing toward full memorisation. Each stage will be supported by clear goals and regular assessments.
Qualified Huffaz & Mentors
Our teaching team will consist of experienced Huffaz and educators who combine traditional techniques with modern pedagogy. They will offer personalised guidance and spiritual encouragement.
Daily Revision & Weekly Testing
Memorisation will be reinforced through consistent review and weekly evaluations to ensure long-term retention and confidence.
Tajweed & Meaningful Recitation
Students would be encouraged to learn correct pronunciation and intonation, alongside basic tafsir to understand the verses they commit to memory.
Faith-Centred Learning Environment
Lessons will be delivered in a nurturing, inclusive setting that reflects the values of Rugby’s diverse Muslim community.
Routine & Discipline
Students will be encouraged to memorise during optimal times—especially after Fajr and before Maghrib—when their focus is highest.
Peer Learning & Group Recitation
Group sessions foster camaraderie, accountability, and mutual support among learners.
Progress Tracking Tools
Each student will receive a Hifz planner and progress chart to stay organised and motivated.
Who Can Join?
Children (Ages 6–16)
With parental support and regular attendance, children can begin their Hifz journey early and steadily.
Adults & Reverts
We welcome learners of all backgrounds. Whether you’re starting fresh or continuing your memorisation, our flexible sessions are designed for you.
Local & Remote Learners
In-person classes will be held at Rugby Mosque, with online options available for those unable to attend physically.
