Empowering the next generation is at the heart of our vision. The new mosque and Islamic centre in Rugby will offer a dynamic range of *youth-focused programmes* designed to nurture faith, character, and community spirit. These activities will provide safe, engaging spaces for young people to connect, learn, and grow.
Our centre will provide a serene and respectful setting for *Islamic Nikah ceremonies*, conducted by qualified scholars in accordance with Islamic principles. These services will be open to all members of the community and tailored to reflect the couple’s cultural and spiritual preferences.
In addition to religious rites, we aim to offer *legally recognised marriage solemnisation* services, ensuring that couples can complete both their Islamic and civil commitments in one place.
Inspired by successful youth initiatives, our centre will host:
Fun and faith-based gatherings for boys and girls, featuring games, discussions, and Islamic reminders in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Activities such as football, table tennis, and basketball to promote physical wellbeing, teamwork, and brotherhood/sisterhood.
Sessions in calligraphy, crafts, and digital design to encourage creativity and self-expression through an Islamic lens.
Practical workshops that teach essential skills while fostering independence and confidence.
Age-appropriate discussions on contemporary issues, stories of the Prophets, and Islamic values—designed to resonate with modern youth.
Opportunities for young people to give back through service projects, charity drives, and interfaith engagement.
